A Tamegroute tall vase with an ever so slight asymmetry as a charming reminder of its handmade origin. The strong green colour comes from a reaction to the clay from a tiny and natural 1% copper content in the glaze.

I went on an adventure to buy this teapot directly from the man who made it 30 years ago as an amature potter. It probably made no business sense with the time and cost of travelling to buying one teapot. But finding pieces I love as much as this is the whole joy and the reason I started Eesome. It’ll be online soon.
This Andre Bodin dinner service is a favourite. Sets like this from the 60’s in France were typically given as wedding presents, kept in a display cupboard and used only occasionally. Finding its way to us in perfect condition for the next generation.
Ceramics from the Bozzi family in the Marche region of Italy. The tiny town of Montottone used to be home to 48 Independent pottery producers, but now this small pottery is the last remaining.
