Origin France 1900's
This 19th century stoneware vessels would have held a liquid, most likely a spirit or wine. These bottles would have been cheap and easy to make on the wheel. Due to high demand, they were churned out quickly, with little attention given to aesthetics. Hence the bottles uneven shape, which nowadays only adds character in its break from uniformity.
A beautiful and rustic item that can be used as a stand alone ornamental piece or as a vase.
