A highly collectable vase in matt green glaze from Accolay.
The studio was set up in post-war France by 4 friends. Thier first commission was to produce ceramic buttons for Dior’s first couture collection in the ‘40s. Ceramic buttons and broaches became the fashion and kept Accolay in business for years. As the trends changed they moved on to the larger ceramic pieces we know today. They are well known for their experimental glazes and shapes.
