Origin Morocco, early-mid 1900’s
A terracotta vessel again used for liquid storage and transport. It’s unglazed walls allow small amount of the liquid inside to evaporate and keep the surface cool, in turn keeping the contents cool whilst travelling through high heat.
Now an very beautiful decorative vessels. Can also be used as a vase for dried flowers. Water will escape through the walls if filled for fresh flowers.
